Isn’t it funny how well your brain soaks up knowledge when it pertains to your specific predicament? Selective hearing? Try selective retaining! While I learned a lot at the IDEA World Conference, I have to say, I retained more information from the pre- and postnatal fitness class I took with Farel Hruska than any other. Now that the cat’s out of the bag, it makes sense: I was high on pregnancy joy that whole weekend and it felt like kismet that I had signed up for the class.
My wheels never stopped turning and I learned so much about all the wonderful, empowering things a woman’s body can do — especially during pregnancy. It was that knowledge that inspired my husband to create some pretty fly workouts for the gals and I to do that are challenging, safe and darn tootin’ good. Heck, my non-pregnant friends are doing these workouts, so don’t be fooled by the bumps that we’ve got. There are only a couple of modifications a gal has to consider if knocked up. The fitness world is a vast and great one, after all!
