Love Wine? The One Thing You Should Do to Reap Extra Healthy Benefits

It’s not like we go out seeking studies that support our love of all things wine and workouts for Wine Week, but, you know, when you just happen upon one and it kind of reinforces (or at least may seem to suggest to reinforce — you know how science and studies go!) what you love to do, it’s kind of hard not to feel the need to share it. And, feel just a touch smug.

Yes! Right?! The health benefits of wine seem to be increased when you work out! Granted, more research needs to be done (correlation not causation), but how exciting is this? And how much more justified do you feel when celebrating a great training run or fab week of workouts with a glass or two of vino? Or signing up for a wine-themed race? And wine-drinkers who don’t work out regularly, does this encourage you to get out there and get active a bit more? Just two times a week isn’t bad — although we do wish there was more info on time, intensity, type of exercise, etc. Can’t wait for more on this! And, in the meantime, we’ll keep imbibing moderately!
