Smokin’ Hot Bob Harper Releases “Black Fire” Workout

The Biggest Loser’s Bob Harper has been loved and admired by the Fit Bottomed Girls for ages, and I have always been just a wee bit jealous that I was one of the few FBGs who had never met him. Well my luck changed recently when I was invited to an exclusive event from Daily Burn where Bob himself shared his exclusive new workout — “Black Fire” — which is available now to all members of DailyBurn. (Yay for me!)

The principle of Black Fire is its use of functional fitness movements performed at a high-intensity level. With just a few pieces of equipment (box, mat, dumbbells, etc.) you follow along with Bob’s 60-day program that uses a scoring system, allowing you to track your progress. There is also a nutrition plan and a one-on-one coaching platform.

At Bob’s Black Fire session in New York City I was able to grab a couple of photos and even chat with him afterwards. The one big drag for me was that I was recovering from a dog-related injury and showed up with a nasty scratch under my eye. “Oh, no. Bob will think I am hideous,” I thought to myself.

However he was very sweet when he saw me up close and said, “Well, tell me you at least had some fun getting that black eye?”

With Black Fire, Bob said that he’s thrilled to offer a convenient, mobile workout system that anyone can literally take anywhere they want to get in a good sweat session. The Black Fire program is included with the DailyBurn subscription service ($12.95 per month).

Finally I told Bob that one of my big fitness goals this winter is to master a proper box jump and that it is more of a mental than physical obstacle for me. Bob said he understood my fears and said the key was to start small and progressively build my confidence. I promise to let you all know how that goes soon!
