10 Yoga Poses to Do Before Bed

Whenever I do yoga in the evening, I’m always amazed by how wonderful a way it is to end the day. And, almost always, when I hit the hay, I have no probs falling asleep and I just sleep so, SO soundly. It’s like the yoga poses magically melt away the to-do lists and worries that are usually running through my head and gently lull them to sleep.

So why don’t I do yoga at night more often, you ask?

Guys, I’m asking myself this, too.

It mainly has to do with Netflix and toddler sleep issues that make it more challenging to get to a studio or stream a yoga session.

But, I have a solution for you (and me)! This Bedtime Yoga Chart from the Sleep Matters Club is seriously great. And so easy to follow. Simply grab a mat, do each pose for 10 to 15 breaths (about a minute) and prepare to be totally relaxed for night-night.

Will you guys try this bedtime routine? I plan to try it with my daughter. She loves doing downdog and child’s pose — and, hey, if it helps her to sleep better, too, then we ALL win! —Jenn
