Was Your Thanksgiving a Healthy-ish One?

Everyone out of their turkey slumber? We just woke up from ours (but that might have something to do with the wine pouring freely, too…) So, for today’s poll, we thought we’d check in and see how ya’ll did over the holiday. Did you stuff yourself? Eat according to your hunger? Enjoy a couple of extra bites than normal but could still move enough to play a spirited game of flag football or a wicked game of Wii Bowling? (If so, our families could hang.) Do tell!

No matter how healthy you were on Thanksgiving, the good news is that today is a brand new day! And you get the choice every single moment to make it the healthiest and most enjoyable for you. That means taking care of yourself by honoring your hunger and fueling your body with the foods and activities that make it feel good. Being an FBG isn’t about eating perfectly and working out every day—it’s about making healthy decisions the majority of the time. There’s always room for pumpkin pie. And wine. Lots of wine.
