You probably thought all of our new healthy snacks would be bars, right? Nope! We’re mixing it up and getting a little funky with Funky Monkey Snacks. This all-natural, freeze-dried fruit product is crunchy, fun and perfect when on-the-go. Sure, it’s geared towards kids, but, hey, we adults like freeze-dried goodies, too!

One single-serving package has 40 calories, one gram of fiber, nine grams of sugar and an ingredient list that’s awesomely simple. For example, Applemon has “freeze-dried apple and organic cinnamon.” Can’t find any fault there! These are a great sweet and crunchy snack on their own or add texture to yogurt, oatmeal or even ice cream. Since they’re already in little pieces, this a fab fruity snack to carry in your gym bag for when you’re needing a healthy snack alternative!

  2. Interesting list of products here, but surely all you need in a gym bag is a banana, a shaker of chilled milk and a few scoops of protein powder ready to add to the milk? It doesn’t get much better than that for a post workout treat!
