Get Dirty With Us—Let’s All Do a Mud Run Together!
Man, we must have the running, racing, obstacle-loving bug lately! I credit Kristen—her race recap was so darn amazing that I swear it made my four-mile race even more fun. And then we read this book, and we got really pumped for new race possibilities. So when Dirty Girl Mud Run came along and said they wanted us to do a race—and give ya’ll the chance for a few of you to join us for free—we were PUMPED.
Dirty Girl is a non-competitive mud run (not scary, fun!) that inspires women to break from their routines for a day, get out of their comfort zones and accomplish something new. The race features all kinds of fun obstacles—like the “Utopian Tubes” tunnel crawl to the “PMS (Pretty Muddy Stuff)” mud pit—that are optional, so you can totally skip anything you find too difficult. Crazy team uniforms and laughs are encouraged, and there is sure to be lots of music, food and drinks. Plus, a portion of proceeds benefit local breast cancer charities across the nation.
It’s a total girl-power, get-dirty, feel-good event. AKA, our kind of good time. And we want to do it with you! The Kansas City Dirty Girl Mud Run is scheduled for the morning of Saturday, June 22, and we’d love to have you on the FBG team. Check out the full details here, and leave us a comment with why you’re pumped to get muddy with us. We’ll select two random U.S. readers to win a free registration to the event in about a week—and those who don’t win can still save 20 percent off registration with the coupon code DGKCBLOGGUEST1 (just be sure to join the “Fit Bottomed Girls” team when you register—we’re in Wave 5 at 9 a.m.!). Everyone wins!
So who’s ready to get dirrrty?! —Jenn
