The kitchen is the social hub of most households, so take advantage and invite friends over to experiment together. Open up some wine and drink while you cook, à la Julia Childs. Don’t take it so seriously and just have some fun.
Sharing the task at hand makes it more enjoyable and the best part, you get to eat when you are finished!
Kitchen skills can be mastered and ultimately enjoyed. Once you get the basics down, your own mastery will inspire you to do more. All it takes is a little practice, patience and a good sense of humor!
Sound off — love it or loathe it? —Karen
