The 2014 Noshies! Honoring the Best Fit Foodie Finds
2014 Noshies: Treats and Eats
Most interesting box of chocolates: Dear Coco Chocolate. The Around the World Collection is not your usual box o’ chocolates. It’s like going on a culinary roadtrip, all from the comfort of your living room. —Jenn
Best ice cream: Ciao Bella. My freezer is stocked with gelato and sorbetto from Ciao Bella, and holy moly, you guys, is it ever delicious. With flavors like Bourbon Caramel Chocolate gelato and Barlett Pear Hibiscus sorbetto, that “delicious” statement could probably have gone without saying, but what’s important to note is that each flavor is clearly discernible, even to the untrained palate. —Kristen
Best snack for you — and your dog: YaffBar. Made from all-natural ingredients, YaffBars have protein and fiber — and they’re totally pet friendly with no wheat, no dairy, no caffeine and no refined sugar. So when you’re out and about and need a snack from that awesome hike or long walk, you can share it with your furry BFF. —Jenn
Best gluten-free frozen meals: Amy’s. We’re talking Thai Red Curry, Pad Thai, Light & Lean Quinoa & Black Beans with Butternut Squash & Chard, Vegetable Pot Pie, and Gluten-Free Brownies. An Amy’s Kitchen Feast! Because, on a lazy weeknight when you don’t really feel like cooking or even going out and want something other than a salad, a family-style organic and non-GMO dinner from your microwave is pretty rad. —Jenn
Best chips: ips Egg White Chips. These are little bits of airy heaven. Kind of like PopChips but softer (almost a stale-like texture of Corn Pops cereal but not gross — yep, that’s possible), these are light and crunchy. Not like your traditional potato chip at all but still really satisfying, these come in four yummy flavors: Sea Salt and Black Pepper (spicy from the black pepper — our favorite variety), Aged White Cheddar (cheesy, but not supercheesy), Barbeque (more sweet than zesty — wish it had a bit more flavor) and Cinnamon Sugar (consider these dessert — like a light sopapilla). A little something for everyone! —Jenn
