3. Stew/Soup. I ran across a recipe in Clean Eating of a Brazilian fish stew that looked quite tasty. So I invited my friend Laura along because I knew she could eat most of what was in the stew. We had to modify a few ingredients to make it Laura-friendly, of course, but overall it worked. The stew was amazing—it uses ingredients like brown rice, coconut milk (though we substituted rice milk), tomatoes, herbs and spices. Delish! I never would have thought of fish stew, but this one was a winner.
